Children can ask mayor questions at virtual town hall just for them

CITY HALL – Children worried about the coronavirus and all its effects on their families and lives can ask Mayor Lyda Krewson questions about it at a special virtual town hall.

Krewson will be answering questions live on Facebook on Thursday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. All children in kindergarten through fifth grade, as well as their parents, are invited.

There’s a form on the city’s website where children can submit their questions. Krewson asks that children provide their first names, their grade and the school they attend, as well as their questions.

“Please submit your questions no later than Wednesday, April 29, at 5:00 p.m.,” the form requests.

“Submit your questions early … then join us next Thursday at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook Live!” the major invites.
