Still not enough COVID-19 test kits, mayor says

St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson gave an update on the city’s COVID-19 response today live via Facebook.

“Tests are still a problem,” the mayor said. “Nobody has enough tests — whether it’s St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles.” Krewson said there were still “very restrictive criteria on who can get the tests. So that just continues to be a problem.” She said she hoped a shipment would arrive this week.

As of today the City of St. Louis is reporting 1,037 total COVID-19 cases and 48 total deaths. The state of Missouri is reporting 6,826 cases and 273 deaths so far.
