CITY HALL – St. Louis native and actor John Goodman is adding his voice to the city’s call for us all to wear face masks when we might encounter other people nearby. In a video on Twitter, Goodman joins Mayor Lyda Krewson and others including city residents and workers to urge area residents to wear the masks.

Krewson aired the video Monday, saying: “Wearing a mask or face covering isn’t just about protecting yourself. It’s about being a good neighbor and protecting the people around you, including those on the front lines of #COVID19. I hope you’ll join me in wearing your mask, too!”

The city allowed many businesses to reopen Monday, with restrictions including the wearing of face masks and keeping up social distancing.
